The state of New Mexico estimates the number of DACA students at Western at between 20 and 30, that less than 1% of the enrollment.

This estimate surprises me, after all the nationwide publicity Western received as the school especially recruiting DACA students, the huge increase in marketing funds and the statements made by Western administrators, I expected the number to be well over 100.

It would be interesting to know the goal the University set for recruiting DACA students.
