Water Based Medicines with Naava Koenigsberg
There is way more to this than making tea...
As well as beverage and medicinal teas, this workshop will cover hot and cold infusions, decoctions, baths, eye washes, hair rinses, and several other ways to use water based medicines. The workshop will include demonstrations, tastings and discussion time, as well as information about medicinal plants and their properties and uses.
1-4PM at the Guadalupe Montessori School Kitchen 1731 North Alabama St
Kids activities with Hillary Nicklas:
Garden scavenger hunt, Earthworm observations, Garden Masks art project, Garden games

Sliding Scale $25-$50 per workshop ($5 discount for two or more workshops)
Space is limited, preregistration is required.
Work Trade/Scholarships available
$5 per child per workshop

Naava Koenigsberg is a Clinical Herbalist with over twenty years of experience. She is the owner of Bear Creek Herbs, and has extensive experience formulating and producing herbal remedies. She has been leader in creating a bridge between traditional healing modalities and standard medicinal practice in our community.
