I see where it says you can delete your posts, but I can't find a delete button anywhere. Any help on this subject will be appreciated.

All posts can be "Edited" or "Deleted" by the author, the key is being logged in so the software knows it's you that made the post. This includes "Calendar Events" but only slightly different.

After logging in, navigate to your post as to read it.
To the lower right of you text will be the large rectangular "Edit" button and just above it will be a smaller square button with an "X" in it, this will delete your post. You will be ask to confirm Yes or No if you wish to delete this post.

If you wist to delete or edit your Calendar Event, log in, find your event on the calendar and click on it to read more about it. To the upper left will be the links to "Delete" and "Edit" and more spelled out.

The instructions here do not work: there is no "X" above the "edit" button on the lower right of my post, only a red exclamation mark. Nor is there an "X" to the right of the exclamation point.

I don't know why it's not there, it is set up in the permissions that registered users can delete their posts. If the one you want to delete is in the classifieds just go Edit it like Sold, given away, class canceled etc. Occasionally I purge the classified section of old stuff. Deleting your posts is a double edged sword, a few years ago a couple of people deleted all their posts, and there were many, but couldn't delete the discussion. It was a bummer, we had some lomg conversations with no original topic. So be careful. If there are replies under your post I would prefer you contact me and let me deal with it.

I had the same problem once then I found out I actually wasn't logged in, I just thought I was since I was on the site.
