Tuesday, Oct 25, the ToSC Council meeting approved the sale of the Golden Dragon to the highest bidder, Dave Baker and rejected ATV/UTV's on Town Streets.

1) Back on June 2 the Town excepted the $30,000.01 bid but it took until Oct 25 for the Town and the buyer to hammer out a contract that specified a timeline in which the buyer had to make certain upgrades or the Town could take back possession of the property. The buyer who is the Director of The Bike Works hopes to interest the Bike Works Board of Directors to rent and relocate the Bike Works to this location.

2) The vote, 3 to 1 was to keep the ban on ATV's and UTV's on Town streets. The rational was an increase of noise, especially downtown and the feared increase of crazy drivers. From this observer/reporters perspective it was a poorly written ordinance and the 3 dissenting councilors responded to the overwhelming negative responsive from the Town residents.

Perfect location for the Bike Works -- way to go, Dave! Hope the board is completely convinced. :)
